Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to Classic Chevrolet OKC Collision Center’s Frequently Asked Questions page, your go-to resource for clear answers about our services. We understand that navigating through vehicle repairs can be daunting, so we’ve compiled these answers to ensure you have the information you need at your fingertips. Explore our FAQ page to find expert insights and make informed decisions about your vehicle’s restoration journey with us.
Can I wash my car after my repair?
Yes, by hand with cool water and a soft cloth or sponge doused in car wash solution, but no automatic car washes or waxes for 30 days.
Recommendations and precautions?
Most recommendations and precautions provided to you by our technicians need to be taken within the first 30 days after your repair (car washes and waxes). After 30 days, the paint has had time to fully cure and you can return to getting car washes.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We take checks (personal and insurance), cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Please note that there will be a 3% charge on credit card payments.
Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?
Yes! We offer courtesy shuttle services that can offer rides to home, work, and rental car locations.
How can I get a rental car?
Rental cars should be set up through the insurance company. The insurance company will usually have a preferred rental company (like Enterprise or Hertz) and will provide a rental reservation number. Enterprise and Hertz will pick you up from our collision center. Additionally, you can leave the rental at our location at the end of your collision repair and the rental company can pick up the vehicle from us.
Where can I find my Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?
The VIN is a unique 17-character code that includes numbers and letters. If you look through the windshield on the driver’s side, it is typically located on a metal plate attached to the dashboard near the base of the windshield. It is also located on the driver’s side door when opened, look for the edge of the door where it latches to the frame.
