NAMAD: National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers

The Jimenez family's journey in automotive retail has earned recognition at the highest levels of the industry, including NAMAD: the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers. There was a NAMAD national panel held with executives from OEM, current auto dealers, potential future auto dealers and many other attendees. The Jimenez family was asked to showcase their success running a family-owned and -operated business.

The Jimenez family has been recognized by NAMAD for the following:

  • Dorian Jimenez earned the right to own a Chevrolet dealership through the prestigious GM Minority Dealer Development program.
  • Lilly Jimenez graduated from NADA Dealer Academy and was the winner of the coveted Rising Star Award from NADA's Women in Automotive Retail program.
  • The eldest daughter, Dominique Jimenez, was recognized as an NCAA Division 1 College Golfer, graduating in just three years as summa cum laude from Hofstra University. She completed the General Motors Lineage Program, carrying on the family legacy in the automotive industry.

Dorian continues to serve as a member of NAMAD, showing our commitment to industry leadership and community development. Our family is deeply involved in such prestigious organizations, and this commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of Classic Chevrolet OKC.

Recognition from the CEO of GM

One of our proudest recognitions comes directly from the top of General Motors. Lilly Jimenez received a personal letter from Mary Barra, CEO of GM, honoring her hard work and congratulating her for graduating from NADA Academy.

Mary said, "the work you do every day is critical" and recognized Lilly's dedication to strengthening relationships with customers and being a great partner with General Motors.
